In 2026, the Coastside pickleball community partnered with Cabrillo Unified School District and the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastside to resurface, modernize, and upgrade the tennis and pickleball courts at Cunha Middle School. The project transformed the facility into a premier community venue featuring 3 tennis courts and 12 dedicated pickleball courts.

The addition of 12 pickleball courts creates exciting new opportunities for Cunha students, Boys & Girls Club members, and Coastside residents of all ages and skill levels to learn, play, compete, and build lasting friendships.

Joining the Coastside Pickleball Club means more than playing the game. It means becoming part of a welcoming community, staying informed about events and programs, supporting the continued growth of pickleball on the Coastside, and helping ensure these courts remain a vibrant community asset for years to come.
